Greetings and welcome to the Snake Ecology Group VII Conference 2024 website!
SEG VII Conference
23-25 June 2024
Winter, Wisconsin
Project Northwoods and Winter School District are proud to announce that Winter, Wisconsin/Sawyer County will host the Snake Ecology Group VII (SEG VII) Conference in June of 2024! The Snake Ecology Group occasionally holds an international conference that focuses on snake ecology and biology. The first SEG Conference was held in Louisiana, United States, in 1990, and the most recent, SEG VI, was held in Okinawa, Japan, in 2016. Dr. Neil Ford will present a talk on the history of SEG at the SEG VII Conference.
It is a great honor for the Winter School District and area communities to welcome all of you, as researchers, undergraduate and graduate students and attending family members, from around the world to share knowledge and advance science. We are excited to show you our school and local communities, the flora and fauna of the Northwoods (an often underrated ecosystem) and let you enjoy some Northern Wisconsin culture!
